About Job
The Business Development Director is expected to develop plans for business and revenue growth to achieve targets. Responsibilities Include market intelligence, planning, and implementing target market initiatives. Researching prospective accounts in target markets. Pursuing leads and moving them through the business development cycle.
Responsibilities:
- Identifying and implementing ways MakanE can expand revenue growth through bulk deals.
- Setting goals and developing plans for bulk sales revenue growth.
- Researching, planning, and implementing target market initiatives.
- Researching prospective accounts in target markets
- Pursuing leads and moving them through the business development cycle
- Developing quotes and proposals for prospective clients
- Represent the company in corporate events
- Contact potential strategic clients and establish rapport while forming agreements for cooperation.
- Increasing the value of current strategic customers while attracting new ones.
- Pitch to clients and close deals
- Driving Makane’s business and increasing its revenue
- Building and expanding the presence of the company in the region.
- Lead revenue growth and client-relationship management, track progress in new and emerging markets
- Develop new strategic partnerships
- Write proposals and plans, and guide long-term objectives to meet business needs and requirements.
- Coordinate with company executives including sales, marketing, legal, and operations.
- Building and maintaining relationships both internally and externally
- Prepare proposals in response to requests for proposals (RFPs) relevant to MaKanE proposition.
Required Skills & qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or related field.
- Proven experience in strategic sales, marketing, or business development
- Previous B2B sales experience
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software (e.g. Salesforce or Pipedrive)
- The ability to multitask.
- Sound negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated
- Excellent written and spoken English skills
- Market knowledge
- Ability to build rapport
- Time management and planning skills
- Proven sales track record
